Jaime Venegas is a filmmaker and photographer based between Madrid, Bilbao and Vitoria.
His relationship with film started through the skateboarding community, a passion that led him to experience and relate to the urban landscape and its relation with society, music, architecture, fashion and art. From there he explored new domains to express emotion, by sheer experimentation with formats: 4K, HD, Hi8, Mini DV or just with the phone.
He completed a degree on Audiovisual Communication at UPV (Universidad del País Vasco) and a Master of Graphic Design at IED Madrid.
At the moment he works as a freelancer having collaborated with companies like Fazeta, Fjord, or Futura Project and he has had clients like Apple, The XX, Young Turks, Rels B, Aitana, Adidas, Loewe Perfumes, TOUS, Laagam, Sisyphe, Serrano 47, Pepe Jeans, Tommy Hilfiger, Pull & Bear, Tezenis, Pronovias, Foot District, Empty Studio, Mahou, Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza, Museo Guggenheim Bilbao, Urvanity, Ink and Movement, La Bibi, Galería Yusto/Giner...
